This study tested whether using a set of 11 proven maternity practices could lower the number of C-sections at a semi-urban hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Over 2,400 women who came to the hospital to give birth took part. The goal was to see if better monitoring and decision-making could safely reduce unnecessary C-sections.
