Giving kids a voice in the hospital: new tools aim to ease surgery fears
NCT ID NCT07289152
Summary
This study aims to improve hospital care for children by developing two simple questionnaires. Researchers will translate and test a recovery survey and create a new picture-based survey to understand what children aged 4-12 think and feel about their surgery and anesthesia experience. The goal is to give children a direct way to share their perspectives so hospitals can make their visits less scary and more positive.
