Summary
This study tested a computer-based decision tool to help pediatricians more accurately diagnose and treat common childhood stomach disorders like IBS and constipation. Researchers compared clinics using the full tool (for screening and treatment advice) against those using only the screening part. The main goal was to see if using the tool led to faster resolution of children's symptoms and reduced unnecessary doctor visits and tests over a year.
