New study aims to boost kidney injury knowledge in kids

Summary
This study tests a program to help children and families learn more about acute kidney injury (AKI). Researchers will measure how much participants know before and after the program. The goal is to improve care and reduce health problems from AKI. The study includes 25 children aged 1 to 18 who have AKI while in the hospital.
