Summary
This small pilot study looked at 8 adults needing a single tooth implant right after extraction. It compared using a bone graft material versus a tissue graft to fill the gap on the cheek side of the implant. Researchers measured changes in bone and gum tissue over 6 months using scans and X-rays to see which method worked better.
