Digital twin study reveals best implant setup for jaw bone grafts
NCT ID NCT07266896
First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study used a computer model (digital twin) of one patient's upper jaw to compare three different dental implant arrangements for immediate tooth replacement after bone grafting. The goal was to see which setup spreads biting forces most safely. The all-on-six configuration (six implants) gave the best stress distribution, supporting its use for immediate loading in grafted bone.
