Heart pump may save lives in High-Risk surgery

Summary
This study tests whether using the Impella 5.5 heart pump during high-risk heart surgery helps people with severely weakened hearts. About 100 participants will receive the pump to support their heart function during and after surgery. The goal is to see if it reduces death, stroke, kidney failure, and other serious complications.
