Summary
This study will test a new national classification system for surgical emergencies, designed to help doctors decide the best timing for surgery. Researchers will track 2500 adults undergoing emergency non-cardiac surgery to see if using this system reduces serious complications within 30 days. The goal is to improve patient recovery and standardize care across hospitals.
