NCT ID NCT07465055
First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at 60 newborns who had surgery for a common spinal defect called meningomyelocele. Researchers want to see if removing the breathing tube in the operating room, instead of later in the intensive care unit, leads to better recovery. They will compare breathing support needs, hospital stay length, and lab results between the two groups.
