First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at whether reminding people of their own death changes how they choose cancer treatments. Researchers asked 746 urologists and urological cancer patients to answer questions about death and then decide on treatments for three made-up cases. The goal was to see if thinking about death leads to more aggressive treatment choices.
