First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026
Summary
This study reviewed medical records of 966 children diagnosed with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis between 1988 and 2011. Researchers looked at how often children needed surgery and how treatments like immunosuppressants and anti-TNF drugs were used over time. The goal was to understand if newer treatments reduced the need for surgery.
