First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tested whether the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab, given after radiation therapy, could help people with a rare and aggressive thyroid cancer called anaplastic thyroid carcinoma (ATC). The trial included 6 adults with stage IVB ATC. The goal was to see how long the cancer stayed under control. However, the study was stopped early, so results are limited.
