New hope for Tough-to-Treat breast cancer: immunotherapy cocktails show promise
NCT ID NCT03280563
Summary
This study tested several different immunotherapy-based drug combinations for people with advanced, hormone-sensitive breast cancer that had stopped responding to standard hormone therapy. It involved 144 participants whose cancer had spread or could not be surgically removed. The goal was to see if adding immunotherapy drugs to standard treatments could better control the cancer and extend life.
