New hope for rare leukemia: targeted combo aims to boost survival

Summary

This study tests a new treatment for adults with a rare leukemia called acute leukemia of ambiguous lineage (ALAL). The treatment combines targeted drugs (blinatumomab, venetoclax, and possibly TKI drugs) with standard chemotherapy. The goal is to see if this approach improves survival and remission rates. About 50 participants aged 14 and older will take part across multiple hospitals in China.
