Tracking hidden dangers: how Kids' bodies fight back after beating leukemia

NCT ID NCT05622682

Summary

This study observed children and young adults who recently finished treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) to understand how their immune systems recover. Researchers tracked infections and measured immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases like measles and chickenpox over one year. The goal is to gather information that could help decide if these patients need extra vaccine doses after cancer therapy.
