Scientists probe immune cells to unlock secrets of infertility
NCT ID NCT06826365
First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at immune cells in the womb lining and blood of 50 women with normal or reduced fertility (including those with unexplained infertility or recurrent miscarriage). Researchers want to see if differences in these cells help explain why some women struggle to get pregnant. The goal is to better understand the immune system's role in fertility, not to test a new treatment.
