Experimental cell therapy tested on patients with untreatable cancers
NCT ID NCT06296056
Summary
This early-stage study tested a new combination immune cell therapy in 9 patients with advanced, metastatic solid tumors that had stopped responding to standard treatments. The main goal was to check if the treatment was safe and to find the right dose, while also looking for early signs that it might help control the cancer. Researchers collected patients' own blood cells, grew and modified them in a lab, then infused them back to potentially attack the cancer.
