New drug shows promise for severe hair loss in early trial

Summary

This study tested a new medicine called IMG-007 in 29 adults with alopecia areata who had lost at least half of their scalp hair. The main goal was to check if the drug is safe. Researchers also measured hair regrowth using a special tool. The trial was completed, but results are not yet available.
