New hope for Tough-to-Treat leukemia: early trial tests Triple-Drug attack

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing a new combination of drugs for adults whose acute myeloid leukemia (AML) has returned or not responded to prior treatment. The main goals are to find safe doses and see if adding a new drug called imetelstat to standard treatments helps control the disease. The study will enroll up to 36 participants and will carefully monitor for side effects and signs of effectiveness.
