Summary
This study looks at the best time to remove a thin inner eye membrane (ILM) during surgery for a detached retina. 100 adults with uncomplicated retinal detachment will have the membrane peeled either during the first repair surgery or later when silicone oil is removed. The goal is to see which timing leads to fewer complications.
