Doctors seek to define a mysterious Post-Surgery syndrome
NCT ID NCT07385196
Summary
This study aims to better understand a set of bowel problems—like diarrhea, urgency, and incontinence—that can occur after a person has their entire colon surgically removed. Researchers will observe and survey 30 patients who have had this surgery to learn how common and severe these symptoms are and how they affect daily life. This is an observational study, meaning no new treatment is being tested; the goal is to gather information to improve future patient care.
