This study looked at 22 adults with infected tooth pulp to see how two immune markers (IL-8 and IL-10) change during root canal treatment. Participants provided fluid samples from their gums and tooth roots at two points during standard care. The goal was to understand the body's inflammatory response, not to test a new treatment.
