First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether measuring two substances in the blood—IL-6 and MMP-7—can help doctors diagnose and predict the course of a rare lung condition in children called immune-mediated interstitial lung disease. Researchers will compare levels in 60 children with the disease and healthy controls. The goal is to improve early detection and management of this serious illness.
