Blood test may reveal hidden tumor activity
NCT ID NCT07151807
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study measures two substances in the blood—IGF-1 and IGF-1Ec—to see if they relate to how much cancer is in the body. About 100 adults with solid tumors will give blood samples, and researchers will compare the results with tumor size, stage, and spread. The goal is to find out if these markers could one day help doctors monitor cancer progression without repeated scans.
