First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at a kidney disease called IgA nephropathy, which can lead to kidney failure. Researchers want to find special markers in the blood that could help diagnose the disease without needing a kidney biopsy. They will study 150 adults who need a kidney biopsy as part of their care, comparing those with IgA nephropathy to those with other kidney diseases.
