New implant aims to stop chronic back pain at its source

Summary
This study tests a surgical implant called iFuse TORQ to treat sacroiliac joint dysfunction, a common cause of lower back and buttock pain. About 110 adults who have had pain for at least 6 months and haven't gotten relief from non-surgical treatments will receive the implant. The goal is to reduce pain and improve daily function by fusing the joint.
