New scan spots lung cancer activity during immunotherapy
NCT ID NCT06439914
First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This early-phase trial is testing a special PET imaging agent that targets a protein called IFN-gamma to see if it can help detect non-small cell lung cancer and show how well the cancer responds to immunotherapy. Six adults with newly diagnosed lung cancer will receive the imaging agent and have PET scans before and about 30 days after starting immunotherapy. The goal is to see if this scan can provide useful information about tumor activity and treatment effects.
