First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study is for older adults with a specific genetic form of acute myeloid leukemia (IDH-mutated AML) who cannot have strong chemotherapy. It compares two treatment sequences: one starting with a targeted IDH inhibitor followed by a standard combo, and the other starting with the combo followed by the IDH inhibitor. The goal is to see which order works better to control the disease. About 125 people will take part.
