First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This early-stage trial tested a combination of two targeted drugs, enasidenib and cobimetinib, in 3 adults with a specific genetic form of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that had returned or not responded to prior treatment. The main goals were to find the safest dose and identify side effects. The approach aims to block cancer growth by targeting two different faulty proteins in the leukemia cells.
