Prenatal DNA test may spot cancer in moms-to-be

NCT ID NCT04049604

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at pregnant women who had unusual results from a standard prenatal blood test (NIPT) that suggested a possible health issue in the mother, not the baby. Researchers want to understand if these test results can help detect cancer early. Participants will have imaging, blood tests, and surveys, and may be followed for up to 5 years.
