5-Year race to delay Parkinson's-Linked disease

Summary
This study is testing whether the drug idebenone can slow or delay the progression of REM sleep behavior disorder into more serious brain diseases like Parkinson's. Researchers will follow 142 patients for five years, comparing those taking idebenone to those taking a placebo. The main goal is to see if the drug reduces how many patients develop these more serious conditions over time.
