ICU Delirium's hidden toll: study maps long road to recovery

Summary
This study aims to understand how delirium (sudden confusion) experienced in intensive care affects patients' recovery as they move to regular hospital wards. Researchers will follow 189 patients who had ICU delirium, tracking their physical abilities, thinking skills, and emotional health through questionnaires. The goal is to identify patterns in recovery challenges to help improve future rehabilitation support.
