Summary
This study aims to understand how tilting the body of critically ill patients who are on breathing machines affects their natural breathing drive and lung function. Researchers will carefully position 30 sedated adult patients in the ICU at different angles using a special bed and monitor their breathing signals and lung images. The goal is to gather knowledge about whether specific positions can make mechanical ventilation more effective and safer.
