New imaging technique may help doctors spot tissue damage after dermal fillers

NCT ID NCT07581652

First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a special dye and camera (indocyanine green angiography) can help doctors see blood flow in the face after a rare but serious complication from dermal fillers. Researchers reviewed records from 19 people who had this complication and received treatment. The goal was to see if the dye test could show how well blood flow was recovering and predict who might need more care.
