First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study aims to find out which treatment works best for different types of interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS). Researchers will compare pelvic floor physical therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy in 220 adults with IC/BPS. The goal is to see if a patient's pain pattern (phenotype) predicts which therapy helps them more, potentially leading to personalized care.
