Nerve stretch plus pill beats pill alone for hand pain?
NCT ID NCT06778759
Summary
This study tested if adding a specific physiotherapy technique (nerve mobilization) to a common pain medication (ibuprofen) works better for reducing carpal tunnel pain than just taking the medication alone. It involved 76 people with diagnosed carpal tunnel syndrome who were randomly assigned to one of the two treatment groups. The main goal was to see which approach provided greater pain relief and improved hand and arm function.
