Summary
This study looked at whether taking ibuprofen before exercising in hot weather can increase signs of kidney injury. Twelve physically active adults ran for an hour in 35°C heat after taking either ibuprofen or a placebo. Researchers measured kidney damage markers in their blood and urine before, right after, and one hour after exercise.
