First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests if giving a drug called papaverine through an IV can help women whose water has broken (but labor hasn't started) deliver faster. About 110 pregnant women at term will receive either the drug or a placebo. The goal is to see if it shortens the time from water breaking to delivery and improves safety for both mother and baby.
