Race against time: major trial tests multiple drugs to save critically ill COVID patients
NCT ID NCT04488081
Summary
This trial aims to quickly find effective treatments for critically ill COVID-19 patients who need high-flow oxygen or are on ventilators. It tests multiple investigational drugs alongside standard care to see which ones best reduce deaths and help patients recover faster. The study uses an adaptive design that allows researchers to quickly identify promising treatments and stop ineffective ones.
