Blood-Derived gel may repair uterine scarring and boost pregnancy odds

NCT ID NCT07536971

First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests whether a gel made from a woman's own blood (i-PRF) can help the uterus heal better after surgery for moderate to severe scarring. The scarring, called intrauterine adhesions, can cause infertility and pregnancy loss. 200 women will receive either the blood gel or a standard treatment after surgery, and researchers will compare pregnancy rates and uterine healing. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to restore fertility.
