Gene-Guided chemo cocktail aims to tame tough cancers
NCT ID NCT04361708
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This early-phase study tests a powerful mix of five chemotherapy drugs for people with advanced cancers of the pancreas, stomach, bile ducts, or gallbladder that have not been treated yet. The researchers use a genetic test to adjust the dose of one drug (irinotecan) based on how each person's body processes it, aiming to find the safest dose. About 54 adults will take part to see how well the body handles this combination and how long treatment can continue.
