Summary
This study tested two ways to manage pain in children getting stitches in the emergency room. One group received a gas mixture called MEOPA, and the other group received hypnosis with the option of MEOPA if needed. The goal was to see which approach better controlled pain during the procedure. The study included 60 children and measured pain using a special scale.
