Summary
This large study is testing whether a structured program led by local village doctors can help people in rural China better manage their high blood pressure. Over 33,000 participants are following the program, which includes medication management and lifestyle support, to see if it improves blood pressure control and reduces future risks of heart disease and dementia. The goal is to create a sustainable model for managing this common condition in areas with limited healthcare access.
