New camera could help surgeons see hidden brain tumors

Summary

This study tests a camera that uses different colors of light to tell the difference between low-grade brain tumor tissue and normal brain tissue during surgery. Ten adults with suspected low-grade glioma will have the camera used during their tumor removal operation. The goal is to see if this technology can help surgeons remove more tumor safely.
