Summary
This study tested whether adding hydroxychloroquine to standard treatments could help control ANCA vasculitis, a group of autoimmune diseases that cause inflammation of blood vessels. The trial was open to adults with certain types of vasculitis who had mild disease activity. Participants were randomly assigned to receive either hydroxychloroquine or a placebo for one year. The study was terminated early after enrolling 43 people.
