New drug tested to fight dangerous liver scarring

Summary
This study is checking if a new capsule called hydronidone is safe for people with liver scarring (fibrosis) caused by hepatitis B or fatty liver disease. About 200 adults will take the capsules three times a day for 28 days. The main goal is to see what side effects, if any, people experience while taking the medication.
