Radiation Double-Punch tested to fight spreading lung cancer
NCT ID NCT05348668
Summary
This study tested a new combination treatment for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has spread. It combined two types of radiation—high-dose to destroy tumors and low-dose to boost the immune system—with immunotherapy drugs. The goal was to see if this approach could better control the cancer and help patients live longer without their disease getting worse.
