First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looked at 80 adults with a broken upper arm bone (humerus) to see which initial treatment in the ER is more comfortable: a pre-made brace or a traditional splint. Participants reported their pain and how many pain pills they took over two weeks. The goal is to find out which method helps people feel better sooner.
