Summary

This small pilot study tested whether a weekly hula dance class could help people with Parkinson's disease. Fifteen participants with Parkinson's took part in a 3-month hula program designed for their needs. Researchers wanted to see if this cultural dance activity could improve balance, movement, and overall quality of life.
