New drug trial offers hope for blood disorder patients

NCT ID NCT07052006

Summary

This study is testing whether an experimental drug called HT-6184 can help people with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) who have developed anemia that hasn't responded to standard treatments. The trial involves 37 adults with low to intermediate risk MDS who will take the drug for 16-32 weeks while doctors monitor their blood counts and safety. Researchers want to see if HT-6184 improves participants' anemia and reduces their need for blood transfusions.
